Another Jesty gem
A recommendation by Jeff Giles
It's become a cliché to bemoan an artist's relative lack of exposure by wondering why they aren't a bigger deal, but clichés become clichés because they reflect something real — and it really is hard to understand why Joshua Jesty's music hasn't reached more ears. Hopefully, this album will be the one to move the needle, because it's filled with some of his most addictively repeatable (and mature) songs. If you haven't already acquainted yourself with one of the Cleveland music scene's best-kept secrets, do yourself a favor and dig in.
