About the Album
A Short Car Ride is a record full of songs about death disguised as love songs. It was recorded in fall of 2023, then lost to a viscous hard drive crash and then recovered and finished in the fall of 2024. It deals with the themes of loss and figuring out what the saying "loss is gain" means.
