About the Album
Years Beers Her Tears was originally written with a male country singer in mind. But, I played it at a show in Los Angeles and realized that it was my story, so I didn't change a single word and decided to record it myself. "It takes a strong strong woman to be a good man" feels like the truest line I've ever written.
