As a big fan of The Weakerthans' "Sun In An Empty Room", it's pretty rare to hear a studio-recorded cover of the song. The Lost Ambitionists stay pretty true to the original but bump up the tempo and the distortion on the guitar. This results in a more driving version of the song. Overall, a fair tribute to the Weakerthans!
The Lost Ambitionists' original song on the release feels similar thematically and stylistically to the cover without being derivative. Love the inclusion of an instrumental version!
