This version of The Mammoth Song was recorded during my time studying music production at Cabrillo College in Santa Cruz, CA. It was my first time taking on a project like this and I'm so proud of it. I'm particularly proud of the arrangement of this song, and you'll notice that much of what I created in this demo was kept in the official version that is on the album. It's funny how some of the quirks and "mistakes" that made me feel like this version wasn't "professional" are now some of my favorite parts of the song. They remind me of how much of myself I was willing to put into learning the art of production, and that I didn't let not knowing "everything" hold me back. I hope you enjoy this little peek into my artistic journey!
