I Worry album cover

an intense topic and the music mirrors this; when it hits that near (but not quite) dissonance it’s like the grinding of a fraught brain. And then the “do do doos” come in which is like the counterbalance. This is what music is suppose to do - provide catharsis for complicated emotions. Awesome.

About the Album

The god honest truth is that I wrote this song after cheating on an ex boyfriend. I wrote it in an hour, processing waves of shame and hope that we might work things out. The verses and choruses mirror these opposing emotions in their chord progressions, half of the song sounds light and airy, and I wrote the choruses to feel demonic with descending intervals. I chose this single to represent my third album because of the groove and what the song represents: life for me has been a series of dialectics. Even my name Summer Winter reflects this. The Speechless Place is where I navigate all my opposing experiences, and I’ve found peace. Thank you for listening.
