First single from the Society of Rockets forthcoming LP 'A Pocketful Of Phables'!

Pack your psychedelic psuitcase for a journey to the center of the Society of Rockets’ latest brain-melting blowpop confection: A Pocketful of Phables. The veteran San Francisco indie band’s new double-LP is a wunderground soundseeing tour that starts in orbit around the moon and spirals down through the woods, past haunted houses and halls of mirrors, all the way to the bottom of the sea. Inspired by the lengthy lineage that stretches from the Beatles, Syd Barrett, and the Kinks through XTC, Robyn Hitchcock, and the Cleaners from Venus, to the Lilys, Guided by Voices, and the Elephant 6 Recording Company, the Rockets’ 9th full-length release is stuffed with buzzing melodies, exploding rhythms and bewildering twists. Buckle up, lay back, and leave this world behind for a better one.
