We recorded New Frontier in a historic house in Condesa, Mexico City next door to Panoram Studios. We're pretty sure the cracks in the ceilings and walls of the house from seasonal earthquakes allowed spirits to slip into the recordings, captured entirely on a 1970s Neve board. I wrote half the songs in that house while falling in and then out of love. Co-produced with Pablo Valero of the legendary rock band Santa Sabina.
